Today, I will share with you some of my current beauty obsessions! As fall approaches, my beauty products and color choices tends to change and I find myself becoming more experimental.
So let's dive right in!
1. I recently made a switch from Mac’s Studio Fix foundation to Maybelline’s Fit Me foundation and I could not be happier with my choice. If you are a Mac cosmetic user, you would know that Mac’s foundation tends to be a bit heavy and thick for the face. When using Mac’s foundation, my face would always feel very cakey and packed. It also tends to make my skin very oily towards the end of the day. However, I have found that Maybelline’s Fit Me foundation goes on super smooth and thin! It is ultra-lightweight and it matches your natural tone. My face feels way lighter and because it mattifies and erases pores, my skin does not get oily as it did with the Mac. Also, with its diverse collection of tones, it was very easy to find my color. So I would 110% recommend switching if you find that your foundation is too thick and heavy!
2. One of my favorite things about fall is that it is the perfect time to wear those very dark, warm lip colors! I have been obsessed with the burgundy, brown, and orangey lip tones lately. Kat Von D’s collection hits the spot with the darker tones. Lately I have been loving Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shades: exorcism, damned, echo, and witches. These four colors are a great mix of dark and warm shades. They are easy to apply, they are long-wearing, and the formula sits very smoothly on your lips! Perfect for the fall and holidays!
3. Last but not least, moving over to eyeshadow, I recently got my hands on Anastasia Beverly Hills’ new Master Palette by Mario. When it comes to eyeshadow, I tend to stay neutral with more light brown, cream, and white tones. However, I have been wanting to experiment with color more without it being too bold. Anastasia’s new kit has the perfect neutral and jewel-toned shades that are perfect for the fall! It includes a combination of browns, tans, rose gold, champagne, burnt orange, gold, velvet, and olive tones!
